  Labor Only

What is labor only?
Labor only is when you already have a moving truck or container and just need the man power to load and or unload.
Or maybe you just need help moving furniture around in your home?

Uhaul tends to be the method of choice for personal use.
Give yourself time to pick up your uhaul, average pick up time is 45-60mins.
Dont forget about the night drop option either. As long as your truck is in by morning when they check it in it still counts as being turned in the night before!
1 - Out of all the rental companies uhaul has the largest blankets you can rent.
2 - Lower deck for loading/unloading

1 - Gas engine - Idiot proof and easy to use for the general public but diesel trucks are made for hauling and that is just what you're doing.
2 - If you break down or have a flat it generally takes hours to get help to you.
3 - They over book their trucks. There is a chance they wont have a truck for you come move day!

PODS - Easy, just a phone call away!
PODS, what a great idea. However I dont personally dont like PODS.
They do not hold as much as the company would like to admit.
Average 1600sqft home will use 3-4 PODS. If PODS says you need 2 - get 3!
1 - They bring it to you, they pick it up when your done.
2 - Im trying really hard to think of a second one.....

1 - They can be difficult to load with large furniture to maximize space usage.
2 - The cost, these are pricey for the space you get.
3 - They never had blankets available to rent with the POD.
4 - The blankets are half the size of uhauls.
5 - PODS are handled rough at the warehouse - Ive seen lots of damage from PODS.
6 - Did I mention they are crazy expensive?

She thinks my trucks sexy - Its a Penske!
The plus side to these trucks is Penske NEVER lets a customer pull off the lot with a truck that looks like it was just in a dukes of hazzards movie and when is the last time you saw a penske broke down on the side of the road? This could be in part due to their fleet of trucks being diesel and designed to get your load from point A to point B no matter what.
1 - Diesel Engine - Heavy loads? - Towing car trailer? Lots of hills or mountains? No problem.
2 - New and well maintained trucks.
3 - IF something does break, road side service is much faster then uhaul.

1 - Higher deck. Takes a little more energy to load/unload but this is why you hire us isnt it?
2 - Blankets are smaller then uhauls. (same size as PODS)

Caution - Use at your own risk.
ABF.. Where to start.... I know! - "MHM does not cover ANY damage where an ABF trailer is used. I have never unloaded a ABF trailer that did not have tons of damage and watching customers crying with every piece that comes off the trailer...
I would prefer you have another company load this trailer if you decided to go this route.
1 - They bring it to you, they pick it up when your done.

1 - Rough riding trailers cause lots of damage.
2 - Charges by linear foot which makes customers want to stack 9ft tall which causing crushing.
3 - Dock height loading/unload.
4 - Bulky folding ramp that you have to include in your loading space.
5 - You need three times the blankets to "attempt" to protect furniture.
6 - Your hopes and dreams will be crushed.
How dreadful the knowledge of the truth can be when theres no help in truth.
-Sophocles, Oedipus Rex
